Will AI replace radiation oncologists? What are the best treatment options for patients with operable gastroesophageal adenocarcinoma?

Our Host Rachael Babin chats to radiation oncologist Eugene Koay and medical oncologist Lizzy Smyth, both of whom were international guest speakers at the AGITG meeting in November 2022.

Eugene gives our listeners the low down on the latest AI developments, big data, dose escalation and radiomics. Lizzy walks us through a recap of international collaborative research projects, surgery free approaches in upper GI cancers and the future of immunotherapy in GI, including CAR T in solid tumours.

There’s so much analysis and quite a few giggles packed into this short episode.

This is a fascinating, informative and fun episode of Experts on Point, brought to you by The Oncology Podcast. We hope you enjoy listening.
