Welcome to the third episode of Supportive Care Matters, a podcast Hosted by Medical Oncologist, Dr. Bogda Koczwara from Adelaide, Australia.

A unique international research collaboration in supportive care flourished, despite a nine hour time difference and the COVID pandemic.

What are the secrets of success in such stressful circumstances? Why is investing in people as important as investing in projects?  How do breast cancer supportive care interventions in Australia and the UK compare?

In today’s podcast, Professor. Bogda Koczwara AM chats to Associate Professor Lisa Beatty and Professor Nick Hulbert-Williams about their international collaborative project Finding My Way, its successes and failures, and their unique frustrations and triumphs.

This conversation is supported by Canteen’s Youth Cancer Services, providing specialist treatment and support for young people with cancer aged 15-25 in hospitals throughout Australia.

This series is proudly produced by The Oncology Network.
