The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR) is pleased to announce that the 72nd Annual Scientific Meeting will be held at Adelaide Convention Centre on 27-30 October 2022.
Under the theme of Reflect, Revive, Reimagine, the 72nd RANZCR ASM expects to be the largest to date with over 200 presenters across both disciplines. The multi-day conference has lined up leading international and local speakers from clinical radiology and radiation oncology professions, offering a wide range of selected presentations, panel discussions and forums, trainee workshops, and industry exhibitions, with awards and prizes presented to recognise clinical and research excellence and honour individual contributions to radiology.
Clin A/Prof Sanjay Jeganathan, RANZCR President, said: “This year’s Annual Scientific Meeting provides an unparalleled opportunity for all of our radiology professionals to come together in person for the first time after almost three years to celebrate the pivotal role of clinical radiology and radiation oncology in the health care system.”
“It is particularly important this year as the COVID pandemic has strained the whole health care system at a global and local level over the past three years, within which context radiologists and radiation oncologists were put to tough tests. We learned, adapted, and thrived, and it is time to reconnect and enjoy what Adelaide can offer. I am looking forward to seeing you all face-to-face again.”
The RANZCR annual scientific meeting (ASM) has become a signature annual event on the calendar of the radiology industry since its inception of the Royal and New Zealand College of Radiologists in 1935. The 72 nd RANZCR ASM runs on a hybrid basis, offering virtual and in-person participation.
