Melanoma patients have urged the Federal Government to add two drugs that can extend the life of advanced skin cancer patients to the nation’s subsidised medicine scheme.
Despite Australia’s reputation as the world’s skin cancer capital, Zelboraf and Yervoy, which can cost patients thousands of dollars for one treatment, have failed to be listed on the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme.
